Rick Wheeler #4 is Rick Wheeler's fourth mission of the story in F-Zero: GP Legend. The mission takes place in Port Town.

Story

Rick begins by yelling at Jack Levin to tell him where Jody Summer is, thinking Zoda. After accusing Rick of being too obsessed with Zoda, Jack tells Rick that Jody was taken to a warehouse by Blood Falcon and sends Rick to go help.

After rescuing Jody, Rick is slapped by her, being scolded for putting personal matters above capturing Octoman. Seeing Rick will not focus until Zoda is captured, Jody tells Rick about the Grand Prix taking place at Big Blue. If Rick has gathered $1,000,000,000, he will eagerly go to register for the race and Rick Wheeler #5 will open. Otherwise, Black Shadow will appear, opening Rick Wheeler #X.

Mission

Map of the course

The player has forty-one seconds to reach the goal, having to navigate through several turns and jumps. The player has a Boost from the start to give them speed, and there are a few Dash Panels placed throughout the course. It is not possible to reach the end of the course in time without using all of their Boost.

Rick Wheeler: "Jack!!"

Rick Wheeler: "Where is Jody now? Tell me!"

Jack Levin: "Just calm down."

Rick Wheeler: "Was it Zoda?"

Jack Levin: "Hold up, Rick!"

Jack Levin: "Rick, aren't you a bit obsessed with Zoda lately?"

Jack Levin: "You are. Listen, Jody was taken by a thug known as Blood Falcon."

Jack Levin: "He's got her in a nearby warehouse!"

Jack Levin: "Rick, you hurry on to the warehouse and save Jody!!!"

Jack Levin: "Got that? Hurry, there's no time!"

Epilogue (if Rick has not gained $1,000,000,000)

Jack Levin: "Well, good... Jody is safe now. That's a relief."

Jody Summer: "Rick!!!"

Jody Summer: "You swore you'd seize Octoman and take him to HQ!"

Jody Summer: "I sympathize, but personal agendas must be secondary!"

Rick Wheeler: "Jody, I'm sorry."

Rick Wheeler: "I disobeyed an order over Zoda."

Rick Wheeler: "Worst of all, I endangered you."

Jody Summer: "Clearly you can't do your duty until you capture Zoda."

Jody Summer: "In that case..."

Jody Summer: "I'm sure he'll enter the special Big Blue race..."

Rick Wheeler: "What's that?!?"

Jody Summer: "The next Big Blue race has a huge cash prize."

Jody Summer: "...But it costs a lot to enter."

Rick Wheeler: "Entry fee? Dang... I don't have much cash."

Rick Wheeler: "Zoda will be there, and I can't go..."

Black Shadow: "What about Zoda?"

Black Shadow: "I'm Black Shadow. Ruler of all."
