Template:Character Truecome (JP:トゥルカム, Truman in the 4Kids English Dub) is a minor character in the F-Zero Farukon Densetsu anime, introduced in Lap 7 - The Trap Of Michael Chain as Dream's boyfriend, later becoming her husband. He was an accomplice in the case of the missing F-Zero pilots, helping Michael Chain in kidnapping them, but had a change of heart.

History

F-Zero Farukon Densetsu (Anime)

10 days prior to Dream's birthday, Dream found Truecome lying in the middle of the street following a car accident. She rushed to his side, concerned for his condition. Slowly regaining consciousness, he awoke to the sight of her, and she was relieved that he was still alive. She stayed by his side in the hospital, and the two fell in love.

At some point, Dream worked at the Falcon House, and Truecome had been keeping his involvement with the Bloody Chain as a secret. Truecome had actually wanted to leave the Bloody Chain, but Michael Chain, its leader, threatened Truecome with Dream. As such, Truecome remained an accomplice in the case of missing F-Zero pilots. Under the guise of a rich young man, Truecome invited Ryu Suzaku to his fancy house after Ryu saved Truecome, Dream, and the Arrows, from members of the Bloody Chain. And for Dream’s birthday, he invited Ryu over for the party, but Ryu also brought along the Arrows and Lucy Liberty. Truecome also claimed that his grandfather owned the house.

After telling Dream to stay seated and leading the rest of the group to the basement, Truecome revealed his connection to Michael Chain, having helped to kidnap F-Zero pilots in order to eliminate the competition. Truecome stated that if he completed this task, he could keep the fancy house and marry Dream. When Truecome realized Michael’s associates tied up Dream in the dining room, he freed her and demanded them to check to see that he had fulfilled his task in the basement.

He tried to reassure Dream that everything was fine, but she refused to be part of his scheme, and reminded him of her reason for loving him. The reason was that he treated her with kindness, even though she was poor. Truecome explained that it was because he was also poor, but Dream told him that it didn't matter, because she would leave if he continued his scheme. Dream's warning was enough to motivate Truecome to change his ways. Truecome came down to the basement and freed the pilots. Michael’s associates came down the stairs, but Ryu fought them off. The group then headed outside, only to be greeted by Michael Chain himself.

After a brief scuffle between the group and the Bloody Chain, the Galaxy Police arrived and the Bloody Chain members made their escape. Though Truecome lamented he couldn’t keep the house, Dream reminded him that they were still a couple and she wanted to spend her life together with him. He and Dream were later confronted by Dream's father, accompanied by Jody Summer. Dream's father had been searching for his daughter, but Dream declared that she won’t marry the man her father chose for her. In a twist, her father already knew that she wanted to be with Truecome, and allowed them to marry. Ryu, Lucy, and the Arrows were invited to the wedding.
