FZFW:Dream

Dream (Full name: Dream Catherine) is a minor character in the F-Zero Farukon Densetsu anime.

A temporary Falcon House employee and F-Zero fan, she made her first and only appearance in Lap 7 - The Trap Of Michael Chain, along with her boyfriend (husband later) Truecome (Truman in the 4Kids English Dub). She is also the daughter of the President of the Catherine Consortium (changed to the Mayor of Mute City and has no familial ties to Dream in the 4Kids English dub), Mr. Robert.

History

F-Zero Farukon Densetsu (Anime)

Dream arrived in Mute City 20 days prior to her birthday in Lap 7, to avoid marrying the man that her father chose for her. 10 days prior to her birthday, she came across Truecome, who was injured following a car accident. They fell in love at first sight, and she stayed by his side at the hospital.

During her time in Mute City, Dream worked at the Falcon House for a short time, and was present during an F-Zero race alongside her boyfriend. After Ryu Suzaku saved the couple (and the Arrows) from the Bloody Chain, Truecome invited Ryu to his fancy home which allegedly belonged to Truecome's grandfather, and once more for Dream's birthday. Unbeknownst to Dream, Truecome was working for the leader of the Bloody Chain, Michael Chain, and that Truecome was an accomplice in kidnapping F-Zero pilots. Eventually, her words convinced him to have a change of heart, as he ended up freeing the kidnapped pilots along with Ryu Suzaku, Lucy Liberty, and the Arrows.

After Mr. Robert was assisted by the Galaxy Police in the search for his missing daughter, he arrived with Jody Summer to Truecome's residence. Dream declared that she wanted to marry Truecome instead, but much to her surprise and delight, her father respected her wishes. Ryu, Lucy, and the Arrows were later seen attending Dream and Truecome's wedding.

• Dream and Truecome's names are a collective play on the saying "Dream Come True."
• Dream's last name is revealed in the JP cast credits of the episode.
